Staying in touch with friends and family from a distance is difficult. Meeting up can be even harder. Southwest Airlines will close that distance by offering a year-long chance for two Rapid Rewards members to combine their points in a joint account. Southwest will also create daily social media challenges so that members can earn bonus points, reuniting them with those that matter faster.
This personalized dashboard is the hub for everything Rapid Reunions: registration, creating a shared hashtag, updates about the daily social media challenges, and tracking points earned.
To receive points from the daily social media challenges, Rapid Reunions participants will use their shared hashtag on various social media platforms, reuniting people together faster. Southwest will also create a chatbot to find those hashtags and give out points.
